Break the Ambush Line

Marcus sent you back to me, good - now we hit them. The Captain has the full picture, and it's ugly. The only roads into the bandit stronghold are choked with archers and bombardiers dug into the treeline, ready to shred any column that marches through. We can't move the guard until those ambush points are broken. Get out to the ambush roads and clear them - eight of their archers and five of those bombardiers should tear a hole big enough to push through. Watch for the powder-throwers; they'll bring the whole treeline down on you.

Those ambush roads still aren't clear, soldier. As long as their archers and bombardiers hold the treeline, the guard can't advance. Keep at it.

On completion

The ambush line is broken - I can see the smoke from here. That's the road into the stronghold open at last. Now the real fight begins. Their command is holed up deeper in, and their supplies are stacked and waiting. Time to make them bleed.
