It's not just mouths to feed out there - they're forging arms. Crude spears, hacked-together axes, racks of the stuff piled up at their camp. If they finish arming, the next raid won't be foragers in the night - it'll be a warband at my door. Get in there and burn their armaments. Five racks should set them back a season.

Those weapon racks still standing? Every one you leave is another goblin handed a spear. Burn them.
On completion
Smoke on the horizon - good. A disarmed goblin is a hungry, frightened goblin, and that's the only kind I want near my fields. But they'll regroup around whoever's barking orders. Their leaders are the real problem now.
