You thinned those forest wolves well enough — but they were never the real threat. It's the timber wolves I'm worried about. Bigger, meaner, bold enough to take livestock and soon enough a child. The reports from the southern farms get worse each night, and the garrison's stretched thin, so I'm putting it to you. Thin them out. Kill eight, and maybe the rest learn to keep to the deep wood.
